"Blazestreak has left the position of being the Clan deputy! Now, before moon-high today, I must name the new deputy!" Foreststar announced. "Starclan, I hope you will approve my choice of the next deputy!" she continued. "Hawkclaw, will you be happy to accept the position as the Clan deputy?" Foreststar asked. Hawkclaw looked rather alarmed. "Does that mean being leader after you?" he asked quietly. Foreststar nodded. Now he looked even more alarmed. "Ahem..... yes, I will be honoured to, Foreststar!" Hawkclaw said, his head and tail high in the air. "That decideds it, the new deputy will be Hawlclaw!"
"Hawkclaw! Hawkclaw! Hawkclaw!"
"Thank You ForestStar! I will work hard to be the perfect deputy!" he announced.

"I hope I have what it takes..." he meowed to himself.
Stonefang smiled and paded over to Barkpelt and Seapaw."Congrats Hawkclaw!I know you'll be a great deputy."He meowed as he passed by the new clan deputy.
